positive thoughts positive mind

when the colt was born it was not smooth sailing though momma didn't want nothing to do with him and the thought of losing him was definitely in my mind, the vet had to be called there is a small window for the foal to get what he needs from his mom, in the end it all worked out. There were 3 nights I had to sleep in the barn with a lead line attached to me and momma to insure his safety to survive she wanted to kick him and wanted no part of any of it she hurt from birthing him and was way older than I was told she was she was supposed to be 4 and was around 19 at the time I'm very grateful I did not lose her in the process.
